PREAMBLE: I think overall this was one of my favourite years ever, which is quite a surprise given how much pain it caused around the world. But I think exactly these moments are when we have to take a step back and help other people. So I would like to encourage you to support a humanitarian cause in Gaza or anywhere else where there are people in need. Thank you.
This post is certainly gonna differ from all my other ones in the way that it’s actually gonna be long (I am writing this as the first thing btw, lets see how this holds up). Also I am planning on making a post on the 13th or 14th of every month for the whole next year, so you better check in on these on your own, until I figure out how to set up email notifications.
So for me personally 2025 was the biggest year of growth in my art so far and I just wanted to make this post to remind (mainly myself) of all the art I created this year.
One of the biggest landmarks for me was reviving my Daily Goofy Goobs series at the end of 2024 and then killing it after around 60 posts at the start of this year again, to pursue something more sustainable and greater.

The last Goob ever – nr. 212 not my proudest.
Looking at this one instantly makes me want to give this series a better ending.
But while January was a month of finally trying to shed myself from my Goobs, February definitely was about trying to reinvent my style and leaning more into horror and abstract realism, whatever that means.

Was pretty much the first time I ever really drew an entire character, but ended up being one of my favourite pieces this year.
I think to me this piece represents one of the biggest shifts in my art as whole this year.
But I have no idea how to even put that into words.

March was just about trying to get more creative and weirder with the style I created for myself the month before.

Stuck inbetween

The first 2 weeks of April were all about participating in a Game Jam for the first time and in the process cooking one of the finest dishes of art ever tasted by a mere human.
: Left no Crumbs? :
The rest of the month was just fuelling that creative energy and creating Art that can’t be described with words other than “Batshit Insane”.

Both the End and the start; That was May (really starving out here coming up with ways to start a sentence).
This was the month when I finally finished a project I wanted to do for a year at this point, but also created my new palette that I have been using since then for most of my pieces.
The Project in Question
Also some of my other favourites from May, because it really was that crazy of a Month for my Art.

June really more than any month before was about finally fully getting away from my daily art roots and making the biggest pieces I have done so far.
These Pieces were also made around the time I really got into METALHURLANT comics and I feel this is quite noticeable in some ways.

Reality Rapturing basically ate up my entire July and started from the idea of making a whole comic on a 4k pixel canvas. While in the end I didn’t really achieve my vision, I do think it’s my favourite from this year now.
Reality Rapturing
This fella was made at the end of the month after finally finishing Rapturing and was the start of my now infamous “Texture” era.

Clay modelling was always something I have been wanting to get into into for years and with the start of August I finally started making some for the first time. Also immediately started working them into some pieces.

My first try at making mixed Media with Clay and to this day my Profile Picture on most Socials.

BMO – Be More
September pretty much was just the “Flip around and find out” month. Creating both a Weekly comic Series with my friend BleuPale and also Posting a Gigantic Comic that can be found this on this very Website:

October was pretty much the last month were I drew a lot until kinda taking a break for the rest of the year.

Also it was time for another Game Jam. This time a 3 day one.
After that I only really worked on these 2 pieces since.

So these were pretty much all of my favourite art pieces I created during this chaotic year. I do believe this will probably end up as one of the most important years for my art development overall.
But most importantly I am just proud of everything I have made and hope that I can outdo myself next year again.
Well I think that’s pretty much everything I have to say, hope you did like this quite self appreciative post tbh and maybe see you on my next post on the 13th (or 14th)?
